Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Keep accurate and detailed financial records, using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Accounting Tasks: Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
  • Reporting: Prepare various financial and accounting reports, including trial balances and tax returns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and precision in financial calculations and record-keeping.
  • Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
