Life Skills Workshop Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team at Momentum as a Life Skills Workshop Coordinator.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position that requires implementing life skills workshops for clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
- The ideal candidate will have experience providing suicide and crisis intervention, as well as supervising activities of clients in a residential setting.
- Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work environment, evaluating programs and procedures to prevent disease or injury, and accompanying clients to appointments and social outings.
Requirements:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- The successful candidate must possess a First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and a valid driver's licence.
- A Criminal record check and Medical exam are also necessary.
- Immunization records are a requirement for this role.
Work Environment and Setting:
- This position involves working in a group home, employer/client's home, or private residence.
- The work setting is on-site.
Physical Demands:
- The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- They must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Personal Suitability:
- The ideal candidate will possess efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and judgement.
- They must also be client-focused, have excellent written communication skills, and be flexible, initiative-driven, and a team player.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
