Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible work environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible prices and services.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
