Job Title: Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at CANADA INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and control costs associated with food, labor, and other expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible prices.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Urban area.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Point of Sale system.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, ability to multitask.
