Clerical Support Associate Opportunity

Humber River Health is seeking a dedicated Clerical Support Associate to join our Haemodialysis Nephrology Program team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support, manage patient records, and ensure seamless communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
  • Manage patient records, including registration, scheduling, and data collection
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with the Haemodialysis Nephrology Program team to ensure efficient and effective care delivery

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of a Community College Office Administration Diploma (preferably Medical) or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year full-time recent clerical experience, preferably in an out-patient healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MEDITECH
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
