We are seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team at SC Johnson. As a key member of our Continuous Improvement team, you will focus on Operations Loss elimination, Operations Expense projects, CI initiatives, and Process support of our Brantford facility.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Production and Maintenance Team on the development and execution of corrective actions to eliminate loss and optimize planned maintenance stoppages at Brantford manufacturing.
- Provide active support to Operations team in troubleshooting emergency, chronic, and repeated problems impacting OEE. Document chronic problems, solutions, findings of faults to vendors and maintenance & engineering group for future reference.
- Designing, configuring, integrating, and implementing process control solutions using PLC, HMI Design & Programming.
- Troubleshooting, upgrading, migration, and/or installation of SCADA, PLC, and HMI Hardware for projects related to general maintenance or new construction facilities, including logic design and network configuration.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical circuit schematic drawings, and wiring diagrams to determine wiring sequences, layouts, and locations.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of lean tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis in day-to-day applications. Should be able to clearly identify Value Added and Non-Value-Added activities.
