We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Franchise Development Manager to join our Commercial Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives team at National Bank. Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Relationships with banners in your assigned sectors, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.
- Ensure Risk Management of your banner portfolio through regular review of financing programs and sound risk management practices.
- Evolve Service Offerings to maximize revenue growth, expand the scope of your service offerings, and ensure efficient execution of programs under your management.
- Guide Business Development initiatives surrounding your portfolio, advising regional leaders on opportunities in their markets.
- Communicate Franchise Programs internally and mobilize sales teams to drive business growth.
- Stay Up-to-Date with market trends, franchising, operations, and business risks associated with the industry.
- Ensure Efficient Execution of programs under your management, ensuring simple, rapid, and efficient end-to-end execution.
- Participate in Team Activities to enhance team visibility and awareness, both within and outside the organization.
- Ensure Franchisor Satisfaction within your portfolio, driving high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
You will be part of a dynamic team of 6 colleagues within the Strategy, Solutions, and Business Processes sector, reporting to an Associate Vice-President. Our team is known for its cutting-edge expertise, creativity, operational excellence, and multidisciplinary nature.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree related to the industry, with 7 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree related to the industry, with 5 years of relevant experience, or University certificate, with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Commercial Finance Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of commercial finance, including analysis and drafting of broadsheets, commercial banking products, and associated financing processes.
- Business Development Experience: Experience in business development, ideally with large companies.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Influential leadership and excellent team player skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and make relevant recommendations.
English and French are the primary languages required for this role, with a focus on frequent communication with service providers and partners who speak a language other than French.
