Job Overview

Vertex is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Hydrogeologist to contribute to our team in Sherwood Park or Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydrogeological assessment, groundwater monitoring, geological and hydrogeological mapping, and associated reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental assessment projects
  • Develop and manage project-specific budgets
  • Supervise and train personnel on groundwater monitoring techniques
  • Lead and support the preparation of proposals and scope development
  • Facilitate projects, including mobilization and demobilization of resources

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Sc. or M.Sc. in Hydrogeology or related physical science field
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist in Alberta (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of project experience in hydrogeology, with direct experience in Alberta considered an asset
