About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Aon, specializing in Retirement Consulting for Canada Wealth Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, delegating and coaching junior colleagues, and providing technical leadership on clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Delegate tasks and coach junior colleagues to develop their skills and expertise
  • Provide technical leadership on clients and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Play a key role in client meetings and presentations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Take ownership of projects and issues, ensuring seamless execution and resolution
  • Proactively initiate and lead discussions to drive business growth and improvement
  • Ensure the team follows through on commitments and delivers results
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in pension plan consulting or a related field
  • English written and spoken
  • Organization skills, rigour, and thoroughness
  • Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related degree
  • Working towards becoming a qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA)
