Actuarial Intern

Aon is seeking a dedicated Actuarial Intern for their Retirement Consulting team.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both virtually and in-office.
Your ImpactAs an intern, you will gain valuable real-world experience by contributing to a trusted and diverse team that prioritizes exceeding client expectations. You will be involved in delivering tailored products and services within the retirement consulting space.
Responsibilities- Assist in actuarial valuations for pension plans;
- Prepare actuarial costings and projections;
- Provide technical support for pension plan operations;
- Read and interpret pension plan texts;
- Update plan records and reconcile membership;
- Complete filings with pension regulators;
- Calculate benefit entitlements;
- Participate in internal seminars and technical training;
- Utilize Excel-based actuarial tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Proficiency in Excel and Word;
- Previous actuarial experience is an asset;
- Enrolled in Actuarial Sciences or a related field;
- Preferably in your second work term or above.
