Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Specialist to provide nurturing and responsible care for children in a home environment. This role involves engaging with children and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in child care is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The position is based in the employer's residence, where you will create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with toilet training as guided by parents.
  • Sterilize feeding bottles and prepare infant formulas.
  • Take full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens.
  • Care for infants and children by bathing, dressing, and feeding them.
  • Implement discipline strategies as requested by parents.
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
  • Maintain records of daily activities and health information for children.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
  • Organize games and outings to promote physical activity.
  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritious meals.
  • Assist children in preparing for rest periods.
  • Supervise and provide care for children at all times.
  • Support the emotional well-being of children.
  • Help children with their homework as needed.
