The Loss Prevention Specialist role at Sephora is a dynamic position that requires a professional with experience in asset protection and retail security. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, conducting surveillance, identifying and preventing external theft, and maintaining a professional relationship with internal partners and law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with store leadership and district loss prevention managers to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans.
  • Assist with inventory preparation and process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Testify in court on behalf of the company, as required.
  • Provide new hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
  • Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements, as required by province or local jurisdiction.
  • Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in the moment on loss prevention techniques.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel is desirable.
  • A High School graduate or equivalent.
