Centre Manager Job Description

At EMCO Corporation, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Manager to join our team. As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Profit Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, develop, train, coach, evaluate, and manage the Profit Centre Team to achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals.
  • Determine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts, and hold the sales team accountable for achieving those goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity, and manage assets and expenses.
  • Build relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share, and identify new markets.
  • Safeguard and maintain all Profit Centre assets, including buildings, trucks, equipment, inventory, and receivables.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Understanding of purchasing and inventory control processes.
  • Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders.
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre.
