Job Description

This full-time Sales Manager - Freight Brokerage role is based in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of new accounts, negotiate transportation rates, build lasting relationships with clients and carriers, and oversee the entire logistics process from start to finish.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect B2B sales leads through cold calling and nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with our operations team to create customized proposals that meet each client's unique needs and objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share within assigned territories.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor revenue achievement by customer.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure commitments are met or exceeded.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the 3PL transportation industry (a significant asset).
  • Proven account management and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Freight Brokerage and Logistics industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data analysis and reporting expertise.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with TMS software (a plus).
