Job Title: Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at Young Roofing & Construction Inc. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Develop and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in cost estimation or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
