Cost Estimator

Young Roofing & Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and/or material costs for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Develop and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure budget compliance
- Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail
