About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell Cité-Jardin 3B 5 residence for seniors. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Serve meal trays, feed patients, and assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment: Ensure the inventory of supplies is up-to-date and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Respond to patient needs: Answer call signals and administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications and Training: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and team player.
Work Environment

As a Medical Caregiver at Chartwell Cité-Jardin 3B 5, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional care to our residents. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
