Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring a smooth operation of the residence.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to call signals to determine residents' needs.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colors, sound discrimination, standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
