About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KITTENS MITTENS CHILDCARE LTD. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Storytelling and Creative Expression: Lead activities that foster creativity through storytelling, music, art, and dramatic play, encouraging children to express themselves and explore their imagination.
  • Child Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of our children, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Before and After-School Programs: Plan and organize activities for school-age children, ensuring their needs are met and they have a fun and engaging experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting, with a strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
