About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Crystallina Early Learning. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs for children aged [insert age range]. This will include developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.
  • Child Development and Care: You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to our students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This will include creating a safe and healthy environment, promoting social skills and emotional intelligence, and supporting children with special needs.
  • Communication and Teamwork: You will be responsible for maintaining open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders. This will include keeping parents informed of their child's progress, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: You will require a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: You will require at least 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Skills and Qualities: You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a passion for working with young children.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires the ability to lift, bend, and move children and equipment as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: You will require the ability to maintain accurate records and reports, and to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
