Mental Health Therapist, Healthcare Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health. As a leading provider of mental health services in Canada, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based therapy services to individuals and families, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery. With a focus on solution-oriented therapies, you will empower clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Deliver EFAP Services: Provide confidential counseling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments to clients as assigned.
- Telephonic Assessments: Conduct quick and effective assessments via phone calls to address client concerns related to emotional health, family, wellness, work issues, and other personal matters, including crisis situations.
- Case Management: Establish treatment plans, complete case progress notes, and determine case closure under regular supervision from the Clinical Manager.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and support suicide or other risk prevention interventions as needed.
- Crisis Management: May provide Crisis Management Services (CMS) on an as-needed basis.
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology is required.
- Registration: Registration in good standing with a relevant governing body, such as a Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Canadian Certified Counsellor.
- Clinical Experience: 2-3 years' experience in clinical settings with a continuum of mental health and situational problems, including experience and training in solution-oriented and/or cognitive behavioral short-term therapies.
- Crisis Hotline Experience: Crisis hotline, telephonic counseling, and/or EFAP experience is preferred.
