We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality services to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled therapist to work as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing confidential counselling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments to clients with diverse needs.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including those experiencing crisis situations, and provide tangible strategies that they can implement to improve their mental health and well-being. Your expertise will also be sought after to develop outlines for specific plans of action with each client under regular supervision.

In this role, you will receive case assignments, establish treatment plans, complete case progress notes, and determine case closure through the Clinical Manager. You will also maintain established service level and direct service targets while consulting with the Stay at Work Clinical Management team as necessary.

About the Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology, and registration in good standing with a relevant governing body. You will also need 2-3 years' clinical experience with a continuum of mental health and situational problems, including experience and training in solution-oriented and/or cognitive behavioral short-term therapies.

Crisis hotline, telephonic counselling, and/or EFAP experience is preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills, and empathy towards client concerns are essential. Fluency in English is required, with French being an asset.
