Job Title: Principal Software Engineer, ML
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer, ML to join our team at Relyance AI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning and natural language processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement novel machine learning and NLP techniques to drive business growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable, robust, and flexible features that meet customer needs.
- Work with large language models, such as GPT-4 and LLaMA 2, to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions.
- Design and implement data curation and model training workflows to ensure high-quality data and accurate model performance.
- Perform error analysis and drive feature development to improve model performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in machine learning and NLP, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, Scala, etc.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and software design skills.
- Ability to learn and operate across the full stack, from ML and NLP systems to cloud infrastructure and AI backend.
- Experience as a creative and strategic thinker with a mindset to build powerful, robust, and flexible solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence product direction and motivate engineers to develop simple, pragmatic solutions.

- Experience with information extraction, semantic parsing, and practical application of LLMs.
- Experience with privacy technologies.
