About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team dedicated to building AI/ML solutions for optimizing the security and efficiency of the embedded finance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain machine learning-based systems to address key challenges in the payment industry, such as fraud detection, transaction enrichment, dispute processing, AML, and sanction screening.
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in strategic discussions to enhance data-driven decision-making processes within the company.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on model outcomes and data analysis.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and payment technologies.
  • Explore new data sources and modeling techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of existing models.
  • Initiate and lead projects that apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques to solve new and existing problems in the payment industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's (5+ years of professional experience) or Master's degree (3+ years of professional experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cloud platforms, machine learning infrastructure/platform, cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, (AWS, Sagemaker, Databricks, Kubenetes, Terraform, etc.)
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R and familiar with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, software architecture, and large-scale computing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with GenAI modeling technologies and use cases.
  • Experience with scalable production model development and deployment.
