The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Management Analyst to join our Canadian separate account client and value-add businesses. The successful candidate will work closely with our Portfolio Management team to execute portfolio and asset-specific strategies, providing comprehensive support for investor reporting and business development initiatives.




  • Create, maintain, and improve portfolio and asset-level modeling across various clients and assets.
  • Evaluate the impact of leasing, capital, and cash flow management decisions.
  • Produce internal and external client reporting, investor presentations, and portfolio analytics.


Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in real estate, finance, or banking, along with a strong theoretical understanding of commercial real estate value drivers and financial valuation techniques. A high level of technical and modeling skills, demonstrated through strong financial analysis experience, is essential.




  • Prepare recommendations and investment memos through financial analysis, proforma modelling/underwriting, qualitative analysis, and research.
  • Support acquisitions/dispositions evaluation and due diligence.
  • Manage fund-level return and cash flow modelling for existing funds/clients.
  • Analyze monthly property-level reporting to track performance.
  • Assist in preparing portfolio and asset strategic business plans.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • A strong theoretical knowledge of commercial real estate value drivers and financial valuation techniques.
  • A high level of technical and modeling skills, demonstrated through strong financial analysis experience.
  • Two to five years of experience in real estate, finance, or banking.
