The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead the medical staff at Concordia Hospital. As a key member of the Executive Team, the CMO will be responsible for providing strategic medical management and leadership to promote patient flow, patient safety, and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to medical staff and Physician Program Directors at Concordia Hospital.
- Ensure the highest quality of physician practice through recruitment and retention of physicians.
- Act as a liaison between the Medical Staff and the Executive Team of Concordia Hospital.
- Collaborate with Regional Program leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.
- Oversee the educational component of undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba at Concordia Hospital.
- Eligible for a medical staff appointment with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
- At least five years progressive experience in medical and healthcare administration.
