Chief Medical Officer

Concordia Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical staff and contribute to the hospital's strategic medical management activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and direction to medical staff and physician program directors
- Ensuring the highest quality of physician practice through recruitment and retention of physicians
- Actively promoting and monitoring quality and safety measures of medical care provided by medical staff
- Collaborating with regional program leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services
- Eligible for a medical staff appointment with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive experience in medical and healthcare administration and be committed to the integration of acute and community programs and services.
