Concordia Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical staff and contribute to the performance of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the medical staff, promoting patient flow, patient safety, and quality of care.
- Recruit and retain physicians, and build partnerships with local fee-for-service physicians.
- Advise the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Team on medical and clinical matters.
- Ensure compliance with Medical Staff By-laws, Rules, and Regulations.
- Oversee quality and safety measures of medical care provided by medical staff.
- Collaborate with Regional Program leadership in planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.
Requirements:
- At least five years of progressive experience in medical and healthcare administration.
- Eligible for a medical staff appointment with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
