About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager - Cortex is a critical position within Palo Alto Networks, responsible for driving revenue growth and expansion in the Cortex line of offerings. As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead and execute sales engagements, leveraging your expertise to connect customers with solutions that address their security needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and executive sponsors
  • Create and implement account plans focused on achieving enterprise-wide deployments
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor landscape to effectively position Palo Alto Networks solutions
  • Engage in programmatic demand generation to expand territory and develop new business opportunities
  • Develop compelling value propositions and leverage prospect stories to drive sales
  • Travel as necessary to meet with customers and attend company-wide meetings
Requirements
  • Experience in SaaS-based architectures, preferably in networking and/or security contexts
  • Knowledge of Federal government procurement vehicles and different paths to market
  • Proven track record of selling complex solutions and leading all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy
  • Active security clearance

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The starting base salary or base salary + commission target is expected to be between $249,300/yr to $342,750/yr, with additional benefits including restricted stock units and a bonus.
