Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques
  • Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Flexibility and reliability
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, with regular overtime required. The position involves repetitive tasks, sitting, and handling heavy loads.
