Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at LONG WHEELS SOLUTIONS LIMITED.

Job Description:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with regulations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license and commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
