About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Varicent. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation and microcopy to help our customers succeed with our products and features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain online help content for our customers, business partners, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with our product teams to ensure that documentation and microcopy are aligned with product development.
  • Ensure that all documentation and microcopy adhere to our style guide standards.
  • Provide a fresh perspective on our current documentation set and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools related to content delivery and communication.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience writing product documentation, UX/Microcopy copy, and/or other multi-media help content.
  • A portfolio of work that showcases your technical writing skills.
  • Ability to conduct research, interview subject matter experts, and perform other knowledge-gathering tasks.
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools, AI writing and proofreading tools, web development technologies, and in-app help and walk-through tooling.
