We are a retail business specializing in florist shops, seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an artistic floral bouquet designer.

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and organized individual to design and create beautiful floral arrangements, manage day-to-day business operations, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather necessary materials to demonstrate crafting techniques and design bouquets that exceed customer expectations.
  • Select natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories to create unique arrangements or other floral items.
  • Organize and manage day-to-day business operations, including supervising apprentices or other artisans and training workers in duties and policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders, providing information, and completing sales transactions.
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of professionalism in customer service.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in ornamental horticulture or a related field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in floriculture/floristry operations and management or equivalent experience.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Punctuality, creativity, and leadership skills.
