Job Title: Artistic Floral Arranger

Fleuriste la pousse verte is seeking a skilled Artistic Floral Arranger to join our team. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements and other floral items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create floral arrangements and other floral items
  • Select and purchase natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories
  • Organize day-to-day business operations
  • Sell products on a retail basis
  • Supervise apprentices or other artisans
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Teach
  • Take customers' orders
  • Provide general information to clients and the public
  • Order merchandise
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in ornamental horticulture, floriculture/floristry operations and management, or equivalent experience
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colours
  • Punctuality, creativity, and leadership skills
