Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Laboratory Analyst to perform various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, analysis, and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities and results
  • Collaborate with laboratory team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. laboratory technology, biology, chemistry)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of laboratory experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
