About the Job:

This role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors and employees entering the VELUX Canada office. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, manage various tasks, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and process in-person credit card payments.
  • Support administrative duties, including appointment scheduling, mail processing, cheque handling, and ordering office supplies.
  • Assist with property management by coordinating contractor services for property repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of office equipment and maintain office areas stocked and well-maintained.
  • Manage promotional materials and update reports as needed.
  • Resolve dealer fine disputes and complete miscellaneous tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in an office environment is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams/Zoom).
  • Effective time-management and task prioritization abilities.
  • Detailed-oriented approach.
  • Positive and professional image projection.
  • Good attendance and safety record.
  • Able to fulfill essential job functions.
