About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Online Undergraduate Career Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Employee Records and Files: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including personnel files, benefits, and performance data.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources team, including generating employment letters, processing benefits, and handling other HR-related tasks.
  • Foster Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, including organizing social events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Labour Relations and Compliance: Investigate and resolve labour relations matters, including harassment complaints and performance management issues. Ensure compliance with our Collective Bargaining Agreement and relevant employment laws.
  • Education and Training: Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and other educational initiatives to support employee growth and development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between employees, management, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise communication and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, across four time zones.
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with the ability to commute to different branches across the Ontario region.
