We are seeking a highly skilled Lease Management Specialist to join our Corporate Procurement and Member Leasing Services team at the House of Commons.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the House of Commons' corporate constituency office leasing program. This dynamic position combines strategic thinking, problem-solving, and client service excellence to ensure effective lease management and seamless operations.

Your expertise will be essential in analyzing and monitoring constituency office leases to ensure compliance with policies, optimize lease management, and assess use and valuation. By identifying potential challenges and proposing tailored solutions, you will directly support Members of Parliament in addressing their leasing needs.

In this role, you will also oversee the accurate entry and management of all leases and related agreements within the designated data management system. This ensures smooth payment processes, reliable client data, and continuous program improvements—all while collaborating with the financial operations team to provide precise instructions.

Moreover, you will provide consultative and advisory services to Members of Parliament and their staff in a variety of circumstances—whether they are newly elected, re-elected, retiring, or navigating office relocations or closures. Your work will be guided by a commitment to excellence and adherence to all relevant policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and monitor constituency office leases to ensure compliance with policies and optimize lease management.
  • Oversee the accurate entry and management of all leases and related agreements within the designated data management system.
  • Provide consultative and advisory services to Members of Parliament and their staff on leasing matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in business, finance, real estate, law, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis relating to office leasing.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating office leases and ancillary documents, and interpreting lessee responsibilities, liabilities, and financial obligations.
  • Experience in liaising with private sector service providers, including landlords, property managers, and leasing companies.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a 35-hour workweek, four weeks' vacation, and opportunities for professional development.
