Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food preparation and service team at Edo Japan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Train new staff members in job duties, safety procedures, and quality control protocols.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that food and service meet our stringent standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on team performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
