About the Role:
Citibank Canada is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Director to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Banking group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert advice on financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, identifying their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets and grow the client base.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product specialists and credit analysts, to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales performance, and business development activities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Citibank's products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor activity.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial banking, with a strong background in sales, relationship management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and services, as well as industry trends and competitor activity.
- Ability to travel frequently, as required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or economics.
- Professional certifications, such as CFA, are an asset.
