Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our Informatics portfolio, ensuring alignment with our organizational vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level advice and guidance to Fraser Health executives on Informatics-related matters
  • Lead and manage enterprise-wide business and clinical information systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation
  • Develop and manage project budgets, providing financial oversight and guidance to team members
  • Supervise and mentor assigned staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Coordinate the procurement and management of external services, ensuring optimal utilization of information and technologies
  • Participate in strategic planning and business case development, identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring effective communication and project coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Seven years of related experience in a large complex organization, with at least three years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Advanced knowledge of information management, business processes, technologies, and applications
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
