Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Director to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our Informatics portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level advice and guidance to Fraser Health executives on Informatics-related matters.
  • Lead and manage enterprise-wide business and clinical information systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, providing financial oversight and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Coordinate the procurement and management of external services, ensuring optimal utilization of information and technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs, developing strategic plans to address these needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with market, technology, and industry trends, providing expert advice and consultation to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven years of related experience in a large complex organization, including at least three years as a Project Manager.
  • Experience with health and corporate information systems.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
