Job Title: Instructor of Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Toronto IBI Inc.

Job Summary:

The Instructor of Persons with Disabilities will work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs, providing education and support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in developing life skills, such as daily living skills, social skills, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with specialists to develop individualized education and intervention plans based on the special needs of each client.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in a general office or counselling centre setting.
  • Develop and implement programs to help students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs.
  • Work with students to achieve their readaptation and independence objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
