Job Title: Instructor of Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Toronto IBI Inc.

Job Summary:

The Instructor of Persons with Disabilities will work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs, providing education and support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in developing life skills, such as daily living skills, social skills, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with specialists to develop programs tailored to the individual needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans to facilitate clients' readaptation and independence objectives.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in a general office or counselling centre setting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to clients with varying needs.
