Job Title: Instructor of Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Ontario Inc. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' cognitive, social, and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals
  • Assist students to develop life skills, including daily living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on clients' special needs to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate, Behaviour management Certification, Intensive behavioural intervention Certification, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
