About the Opportunity

This role offers a chance to provide expert technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and process development in IT control assessment services supporting the global RBC business and Technology team. The successful candidate will drive continuous operational process improvement to enhance service levels and quality of assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex engagements for decision-making, problem-solving, implementation, and planning.
  • Drive process enhancement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support on complex control assessment engagements and act as a point of escalation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in management information systems, Information Security, Computing, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, and CRISC.
  • At least 3 years of experience in security consulting and delivering large projects/programs.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Information Security.
  • Expert knowledge of ISO 27002, NIST 800 series, and COBIT control framework.
  • Financial services or comparable multi-industry consulting experience.

About the Role

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary of $110,000-$140,000 based on location (Toronto) and industry standards. The role requires 37.5 hours of work per week. We value diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment.
