Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect Lead to join their team in Toronto, Canada. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year.

Job Description

This role involves designing and implementing robust security architectures for the bank's multi-cloud and hybrid platforms. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in creating and managing enterprise security architectures and solutions, as well as 4+ years of engineering experience in application or platform development utilizing DevSecOps and deploying on IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design practical security solutions for a multi-cloud and hybrid platforms, including data protection, identity and access management, platform security, and other cyber controls.
  • Document Security Reference Architectures and roadmaps which provide guidance for Security and Engineering teams.
  • Author patterns for data protection, identity and access management, application and infrastructure security, to increase reuse and facilitate cost optimization.
  • Support the IT Risk teams in identifying and solving for security risks.
  • Provide Security Solutions Architecture for applications and platforms.
Requirements
  • Leadership behaviors and ability to command and influence an audience to adopt desired solutions.
  • Must be solution-oriented, offer a consultative approach, able to understand the context and prescribe relevant solutions.
  • Proficient in one or more security domains including Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Threat Management, Infrastructure Security, etc.
