Primary Care Mental Health Clinician

The Primary Care Mental Health Clinician will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess and develop plans of care for individuals with mental health and/or addiction challenges. You will provide evidence-based interventions and support to help individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services
- Educate individuals and families about mental health and addiction issues
- Participate in interprofessional teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide support and guidance to individuals and families in crisis
- Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
- 2 years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
- Current valid BC driver's license
- Strong assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
