Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Primary Care department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues. You will work collaboratively with our interprofessional team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health and addiction issues
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with our interprofessional team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in mental health care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
  • 2 years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
  • Current valid BC driver's license
