Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Primary Care department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues. You will work collaboratively with our interprofessional team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with mental health and addiction issues
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with our interprofessional team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
  • 2 years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
  • Current valid BC driver's license
